To establish and promote a strong, integrated NoE entity both inside and outside of the Network
To exchange scientific knowledge and accelerate pace of bioenergy research
To foster and grow the NoE's expertise
Fostering strong communication between partners is a cornerstone of the NoE's Communication strategy. Researcher exchanges between partner institutes, an internal newsletter, workshops and an internal database are some of the tools the SEA is using to build a strong Network. External communications include the website, posters, press releases and presentations at workshops and conferences. Promotions outside the Network are beginning to build as Bioenergy NoE researchers produce joint research to share with industry and academia. The SEA is developing an Education and Training strategy for the Bioenergy NoE to maximise knowledge and training among our researchers.
The SEA Team
The Spreading of Excellence team is lead by Tony Bridgwater of the Bio-Energy Research Group (BERG) at Aston University. BERG has a strong history of communicating bioenergy research projects to academia, industry and the general public. Tony is supported by Emma Wylde and Irene Watkinson at Aston University, Hannes Schwaiger at Joanneum Research, Leena Fagernas at VTT, Nathalie Gagnaire at INRA, Juergen Vehlow at FZK, Kes McCormick and Philip Peck at IIIEE, Magdalena Rogulska at EC BREC and Herman den Uil from ECN.
